Kiel An exploration of the theme of landscape as a construct of painterly and idealistic perceptions unites the three positions.
In his paintings, Jakob Offermann explores nature as a projection surface for biographical markers and mystical human needs. In doing so, he explores his own relationship to landscapes with which he is intimately familiar. His pictures show ambivalent moods of the forests of his place of origin.
